Lindokuhle Michael Mvelase-Julyan and Connor Young, who both joined the club last year, have made the move to play for the Southern Knights into the Fosroc Super6 competition.

Michael Mvelase-Julyan is a winger with electric pace, from Durban, South Africa. Michael is a product of Western Province Rugby Institute and had previously played for the Western Province in the U19 Currie Cup. He made the move to the UK in 2012 and played for Blackheath in South-East London whilst he was studying in the city.

The dynamic front row player Conor Young joined Melrose last year from the Sydney Rams whilst playing in the National Rugby Championship in Australia. Connor has also been capped for the Scottish Club International side as well as the for Southern Districts rugby club in Sydney.
